Meet Beth Schafer
Beth Schafer joined Temple Sinai July 1, 2015 as our Bunzl Family Cantorial Chair. She has been a musical presence for the Union of Reform Judaism since 1999, headlining and playing guitar for Shabbat services at the last seven biennial conventions. At the 2013 URJ Biennial, Beth became the first woman to produce an event for the URJ. Her seven CDs of original Jewish music have become favorites in synagogues as well as churches and spiritual radio stations of many denominations.

To help shape what goes on during the year including bringing in artists-in-residence, and arranging concerts and educational opportunities, you can join Shir Sinai, our music committee.
Join our High Holy Day choir, the crown jewel of our Holy Day worship experience. We rehearse for 8 weeks prior to the Holy Days. Or, for an easier commitment, consider singing in our drop-in choir which only requires one rehearsal for that week’s Shabbat service.
If you want to be showcased as a performer, throughout the year we turn our lobby into a coffee house, where our members perform a set for adoring friends and family.
