Join a Circle

Registration for Sinai Circles is now open! Sinai Circles is our small group initiative in which members come together based on common interests. Whether you’re reconnecting or joining us for the first time, we can’t wait to see you in our vibrant community groups. Circles meet together periodically throughout the year beginning this fall through next spring. Options include book clubs, card games, sports, community service, activities for those in specific age groups and more.

See below and explore our current Sinai Circles to find your people! And if nothing sparks your interest right now, don’t worry— you’ll have the opportunity to submit new ideas in early 2025. Registration for Sinai Circles closes on October 31 so sign up today! Circle leaders will be in touch with members at the beginning of November.

6th Grade Parents for a Bar/Bat Mitzvah Craft Club
Make something that will be used at your child's bar or bat mitzvah or just come at chat. Learn More

9-Hole Non-Competitive Golf
Spend some time together enjoying the outdoors and playing some golf with no competitive pressure. Learn More

Challah, Chatter & Chill
Enjoy a relaxed evening of of wine and challah-making on a Thursday night. Learn More

Couples Book Club
Discuss the book picked by the host. Learn More

Couples in Recovery
Come together with couples in AA/Al Anon for socialization and an informal meeting to share experiences, strength and hope. Learn More

Family Volunteering

     Join a Sinai Circle Here 

To register for a Sinai Circle:

  • You will be directed to Group Finder, scroll through, and if you are interested in joining a group click “View Profile” to learn more and then add in your information on the right-hand side.
  • Once you provide your contact information, the group leader will be notified via email.
  • Your group leader will update the group on Group Finder if there is not a consistent time and place, so please check the site to view details. When the group leader makes updates to the group’s meeting times and places you will receive an email.
  • If you have specific questions about your group (when the group will meet, details, etc.) please reach out to your group leader. You can access their information by submitting your information. Edits to your status as a group member can be updated later.

FAQs

  1. How long do Sinai Circles meet for?
    The Fall 2024 term of Sinai Circles will be together from around the High Holy Days until May, and the Winter 2025 term will be together from early 2025 until the fall of next year.
  2. How do I sign up?
    Check out our Group Vitals page where you will select an open group and fill out your information. You do not need to create a Group Vitals account to sign up.
  3. What if a Sinai Circle I am interested in is already full?
    Once a Sinai Circle is full, it is closed. If there is a topic that interests you and that particular Circle is closed, please consider forming and facilitating your own Sinai Circle when we open up requests for new Circle ideas in early 2025 .
  4. What if I can only attend some of the Sinai Circle gatherings?
    The essence of Sinai Circle lies in fostering connections, hinging on the reliability of shared time and space. Acknowledging that life and the world may occasionally introduce unforeseen conflicts, we kindly ask that you express interest in joining a Sinai Circle only if its meeting dates and times align with your schedule.
  5. What if I want to start my own Sinai Circle?
    You will have the opportunity to submit new Circle ideas in early 2025.
  6. What happens after I sign up for a Sinai Circle?
    The group leader will be in touch with you at the beginning of November after the registration period has closed to share information about your Circle and details about gatherings!
