About Us

Lifelong Jewish Learning. Real Connections. Inclusivity. Welcome to Temple Sinai.

Since our start in 1968 with just 145 founding families, our Reform congregation has blossomed into a vibrant home for more than 1,600 households. We're diverse—different backgrounds, life stages, and experiences—but we come together to pray, learn, and celebrate as one. Whether you see yourself leading the charge or simply enjoying the rhythm of Shabbat from the pews, there's a place at Temple Sinai for you.

Clergy

Temple Sinai is your home for fostering spiritual growth, nurturing meaningful connections, and strengthening Jewish life. Rooted in the Reform tradition, we are guided by a clear mission and a set of core values that shape every aspect of our community. From creating inclusive, welcoming spaces to promoting lifelong learning, spiritual exploration, and social action, Temple Sinai is a vibrant center of Jewish life. Here, every voice matters, every individual is valued, and everyone is encouraged to engage, grow, and belong.

We hope you take a look at our website and all we have to offer. We look forward to seeing you soon.

Torahs

50 Years of Torah is a beautiful book that tells the stories of all seven of our Torah scrolls. This special compilation honors their history, meaning, and journey. Our deepest thanks to Berylann Strada for her tireless dedication in bringing this project to life.

To learn about the Uhrineves Scroll, MST #543, please see page 14. It is one of the 1,564 Czech scrolls that survived the Holocaust on permanent loan from the Memorial Scrolls Trust in London.

Addressing Antisemitism

In response to the alarming rise of antisemitic acts, Temple Sinai recently adopted a strategic approach to antisemitism that includes education, advocacy, and ritual recognition. We have long celebrated our relationship with the Anti-Defamation League (ADL) and the American Jewish Committee (AJC), two organizations that are uniquely positioned in the community to document and respond to antisemitism, and those relationships are key components of our strategy. With the help of those organizations, we’ve held forums, learned from guest speakers, trained our students in response strategy, provided resources to those on college campuses, and more.

Our Publications

Temple Sinai produces a bi-yearly magazine called Our Journey, Our Home that showcases our congregation.  Contributions to various Temple Sinai funds, new members, member simcha’s and member condolences are also reported in each issue.

Temple Sinai also produces a monthly calendar that is mailed to all member families.  Advertising is available in our monthly calendar publication only.  Please contact Andrea Fineman for more information.
