We are looking forward to two great weeks of Noar before Winter Break. We begin this week with Family Tefillah for our Shoreshim (Prek-1st) families joining us in the sanctuary for Tefillah from 9:30am -10:00am. Please make sure to park in the upper lot and walk your child in and plan to sit as a family for this experience.
This week is also a chug (elective) week. Since it coincides with Temple Sinai’s Spotlight on the Arts, your children will spend time in their chuggim (electives) focused on Jewish artists or those who worked with Jewish themes.
Please note that the art show will impact parking. If you plan to come for Family Tefillah, visit the art show, or pick up your child, you are asked to park in the front, upper lot. There will be off site parking at the Dupree with shuttles beginning at 9:00am. If you are a family that stays for the entire morning, we ask that you park in the preschool parking lot. Space on the side lot that leads up to the Noar office will be dedicated for handicap parking.
This year, as part of the Art Show, families are invited to participate in a Hamsa making project beginning at 12:15pm when Noar ends. Stop by the Social Hall with your children for this opportunity.
Lost and Found has many items that your children have left behind. Feel free to visit Ms. Jenny at the Noar office this week or next and claim your children’s missing coats, jackets, and water bottles.
Looking forward to seeing you all this Sunday! Shanna
