Moadim L’simcha, I hope that all of you have had the opportunity to enjoy time in a Sukkah during this Sukkot season. It was nice to see many of you at either Pizza in the Hut or Family Tefillah last week.
Tonight, we will mark Simchat Torah, the time when we end the reading of the Torah and begin reading it again. Each year we reread the same stories, finding new layers of depth to the messages they hold. This Sunday, your children will also begin their study of Torah Stories. They will explore stories over several consecutive sessions looking at both the story and the values and connection to Israel found within. Be sure to check your Remini app for updates and pictures as the children go on this learning journey.
Finally, a carpool safety update. If you have a child that requires more time or assistance in buckling, we ask that, for your safety and theirs, you park in the main lot and come to the classes to pick them up at 12:10pm or go through the carpool line, allow us to load the children, and then you pull into a spot in the main lot to assist them in buckling.
Looking forward to seeing your children this Sunday! Shanna
