Dear Noar Families,
We continued our Teacher Orientation this week with a workshop presented by Jenna Sommer on teaching through the strengths of our students. We thought about the different types of learners who may be in our classrooms and ways to help them meet with success. In addition, we spent some time considering our personal relationships with Israel as well as the way we teach about Israel at Temple Sinai. In the afternoon, teachers and madrichim worked in teams to set goals and frameworks that will be in place as we welcome your children on
Sunday, September 8th.Please see below for information about Opening Day and registration links so we can prepare for our Food Truck Fun portion of the day.
Next week you will be getting emails from me to introduce you to your children’s teachers, including a “Meet the Teacher” sheet so you can learn a bit about their teachers. Our faculty this year is stronger than ever and will bring so much meaning to your children’s Jewish journey.
Looking forward to seeing you soon!
Shanna
