Let the countdown to Noar Sunday begin! This year, Opening Day will take place on Sunday, September 8th. Students will begin in their classrooms at 9:30am where they will meet their teachers and classmates. Their morning will be spent getting to know one another through games and activities that will get them excited for their year.
Kids shouldn’t have all the fun so, while the children are reconnecting with old friends and making new ones, we will have events for parents, too. Brotherhood and Women of Sinai will be offering coffee and mimosas, I will have a session sharing the exciting changes for the year and giving you an overview of what each Eidah will cover, and parent meet-ups will give you a chance to connect with other Noar families.
At 11:00am, Food Truck Fun begins. You will pick up your children from class and head outside for lunch and activities. We will have food trucks, lawn games, opportunities for mitzvah projects, and a chance for you to get a “Taste of Noar” with activities run by some of our teachers.
To ensure that we are able to give the food trucks a rough count and reduce time waiting in line, make sure to register here.
We hope you all will make plans to join us as a family. For families with children ages 2-4 who are too young to attend Noar, there will be child care in the Wonder Room from 9:30-11:00am. Registration is required for child care so make sure to register with the link above.
Please note that there will not be any carpool drop-off or pick-up on the first day. We ask everyone to park and come in and for parents to join us for the day. Families with children enrolled in Noar Hebrew on Sundays should plan to eat lunch with their child before escorting them to the lobby to meet their Hebrew teachers at 12:30pm.
