My first year at Noar has flown by and I can hardly believe that May 5th will be our last session of Noar for this school year. I have truly enjoyed watching your children learn and connect with their classmates. Thank you for sharing your children with all of us.
As we close out the year this Sunday, your children will have a chance to spend time with their teachers reflecting on their experience. They will watch a slideshow of memories throughout the year and note how much they have learned.
While your children are reflecting here, I would like to invite each family to fill out a survey from The Jewish Educational Collaborative at Federation. This survey is a way to gain valuable feedback about Supplemental Jewish education throughout the Atlanta Jewish community and at Temple Sinai in particular. If we can get a meaningful response (at least 30% of families) we can use the data to better understand the needs of the Noar community. I hope you will click here to fill it out by May 7th. Thank you in advance for helping us!
For families seeking out ways to extend the learning and continue to find joy in Jewish experiences together, there are some great options to check out. Days United has boxes for each holiday. Lag B’omer and Shavuot are holidays that will happen over the next several weeks. Check out this link if you might be interested in ordering a box to help your family celebrate. In addition, the time between Passover and Shavuot is called the Omer. Kelly Cohen from the Jcc has created an Omer counting reading challenge that will help bring a Rainbow of Values to your children through books. Check out this link to find the books and activities you can explore as a family.
See you Sunday, Shanna

Orim students have spent the year learning about Israel. They have created projects to share their learning and will be holding an Israel Fair from 9:45-11:45 for the other eidot (units) of Noar this week. Parnets are invited to stop by as well.
