Summary
Dear Noar Parents,
We are excited to see your children back in the building with us this week as we begin our study of Purim.
This week, children will be focused on learning about the important players in the Purim story. In addition, they will learn about some of the mitzvot and traditions associated with this happy holiday.
Next Sunday (3/17), in lieu of Noar, we hope that you will all join us for PURIMagination 11:00am–1:00pm. There will be many games and activities perfect for your Noar aged child including carnival games, sand art creations, obstacle courses, and a cake walk as well as lots of delicious treats including hamantaschen, cotton candy, ice cream, and pizza!
Our final Purim event this season will be a Family Megillah reading that will take place during Noar on March 24th at 11:00AM. Start thinking of Purim costumes as kids will come in costume to enjoy the fun that day. They will also need to bring in a box of pasta, mac-n-cheese, or mac-n-cheese cups to be decorated and used as a ra’ashan (gragger) and then donated as part of Matanot L’Evyonim, the Purim mitzvah of feeding those experiencing food insecurity.
Happy Adar, Shanna
