I hope you all had a great summer. We have been busy here at Sinai planning what is going to be an amazing year for all of our youth and teens. Opening Day for Noar is Sunday, August 27 and we are kicking off the year with a bang (literally & figuratively!). Starting with a pancake breakfast at 8:30 am for everyone, followed by our students meeting their teachers and classmates while parents meet other grade level parents, as well as our new Director. The day will end with a family concert with our guest musician Billy Jonas, who uses drums in ways you can’t imagine! There will not be any drop off or carpool pick up on the first day. We ask everyone to park and come in and for parents to join us for the day. See below for more details and to register.
We also have some new faces on our team!
Shanna Wilons, our new Director of Youth and Teen Learning & Engagement oversees the entire K-12 department, running our Noar and H.U.B. programs and working with all of families, teachers and staff. You will receive most of your Noar and H.U.B. communication from Shanna and she looks forward to meeting all of you.
Sigal Kahn has joined us as our new Youth and Teen Engagement Manager! Sigal will oversee our youth group programs, Madrichim program and working with Shanna in planning our youth & teen trips, events and family programs.
And of course, Jenny Mopper and I are also available with any questions you have.
I look forward to seeing you on Opening Day!
