WHO WE ARE
Many use the term “empty nester”, but we chose to go with Moshav meaning “village” in Hebrew. They say “it takes a village” as you raise your children - but what about your village once they have left for college and young adulthood? That’s where Moshav comes in! Temple Sinai is excited to have this amazing supportive community for those in a similar life stage - no matter how old your young adult children are or how long you’ve been an empty nester!
WHAT WE DO
Moshav hosts social events and shares educational content and opportunities that may be helpful for those in this stage of life. Some past favorite events include:
- Backyard Summer Social
- Salsa in the Sukkah
- Trivia, Tacos and Tequila
- Happy Hours and Dinners
All events are planned by members for members. The Moshav steering committee is hard at work planning upcoming events such as a special Moshav Shabbat Dinner, Paint & Sip, and more, but they’re also always looking for suggestions!
