Infant

The First Steps
First steps are important—especially the f irst step in your baby’s educational journey. In this class, your child will be nurtured by creative and loving teachers who are as invested in your child’s development as you are! Our infant room will allow your little one to develop their senses and skills, explore the world around them, and spark curiosity and a life-long love of learning.

Toddler

Gaining Independence
The Toddler Program provides an introductory experience to social settings with many options to fit your little one’s needs. Our toddler classes are designed to teach curious learners how to safely and enthusiastically engage in a group setting while learning language, motor, and cognitive skills through imaginative play, creative movement, art, and sensory experiences. These young learners will explore their environment while building independent skills and gaining self-confidence.

Twos

Discovering and Problem Solving
The Twos class enriches a child’s curiosity about the world. From problem solving as a group to understanding everyday tasks and objects, this class embraces children’s eagerness to discover and learn. Interactive activities, including creative movement, songs, art, dramatic play, and hands-on exploration help children develop a sense of self as well as physical and cognitive readiness skills in playful, fun ways.

Threes

Critical Thinking and Communicating
The Threes class prepares students for more learning by building on critical thinking and social skills while being engaged in activities and discussions that promote pre-reading and pre-writing skills through play with letters and sound. In the Threes, children begin to participate in more group activities and learning that encourage both creative and critical thinking.

PreK

Getting Ready for Kindergarten and Beyond
The Pre-Kindergarten class provides children with a strong academic foundation for the next step on their educational journey. This 5 day class inspires students with specific math, language, science, and social studies activities which help children develop the necessary cognitive Kindergarten readiness skills. Students continue to build their love of learning and positive sense of self through play that will carry them througout their lifetime. Many Pre-K students are eligible for ALEF funding through Georgia GOAL

Rabbi Ron at Tot Shabbat

Our young learners have the opportunity to engage in specials classes each week to enrich their classroom experiences. These enrichment opportunities throughout the week include Hebrew and Judaics, sports, music, and more:
•Learning Judaics and Hebrew through music and movement with T’Kiya.
•Getting into all sorts of messy, sensory fun and exploring nature in the outdoor classroom, the teva (nature) trail and gardens
•Identifying, naming, and managing big feelings during the ups and downs of preschool in a dedicated social emotional learning class
•Foundational sports skills and gross motor development in a fun, active physical education class and yoga
•Open-ended, imaginative play in our Wonder Room, with an emphasis on STEAM, loose parts, and lights!
•Exposure to new foods and the joy of cooking with our very own snack chef!
Each week ends with a joyful, school-wide Shabbat sing-a-long with Temple Sinai clergy — our favorite part of the week!

At TSPS we strive to provide flexible schedules that fit each family’s needs. Do you need early morning or after school care? Add on early morning (Boker Time) or after school (Kef Club) to your half or plus day registration to drop off as early as 8:00 or extend your child’s day to 3:30. In the afternoons, students will rest and recharge, play outside, and participate in art and other small group activities.
