Shomrei Adamah: Environmental Awareness

River Cleanup

Sinai congregants who are concerned about the environment gather together to share their enthusiasm and their ideas. The group takes the time to understand local and national initiatives. That awareness turns into action as members empower each other to take action, whether in the form of advocacy, attending events, or taking direct steps to reduce our carbon footprint and repair the world.

Get Involved

Each month, the Environmental Awareness Committee gathers with a shared purpose: to care for our planet and inspire sustainable change. These virtual meetings are a space for passionate, environmentally conscious individuals to exchange ideas, discuss initiatives, and support one another in taking meaningful action—both within our synagogue community and beyond.

If you would like to join the monthly meeting, visit the calendar for upcoming dates and the Zoom link. Got questions? Email us here.

Eco Challenge

The EAAC invites you to take part in their monthly series of environmental challenges, each focusing on a different area of sustainability and offering practical actions and educational resources. Explore how to make being green part of being Jewish. Complete all the challenges and be recognized as a Shomrei Adamah – Guardian of the Earth! Take the challenge here.
