USO Volunteering

USO

At Temple Sinai, we believe in showing gratitude to those who serve our country through meaningful acts of support and kindness. Through our partnership with the USO Center at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport, we assist in providing a warm and welcoming space for service members and their families as they travel. This initiative reflects our Jewish values of hachnasat orchim (welcoming guests) and gemilut chasadim (acts of kindness), ensuring that those who sacrifice for our nation feel appreciated and cared for.

Temple Sinai volunteers assist at the USO by greeting guests and offering refreshments. Whether helping with logistics, answering questions, or simply offering a friendly face, our volunteers play a vital role in making the USO a place of rest and support. Volunteers must be 18 years or older and complete a brief orientation process.

Honoring those who serve is a privilege, and Temple Sinai is proud to be part of this effort. Together, we extend warmth, respect, and appreciation—one small gesture at a time.
