At Temple Sinai, we believe that every family deserves a safe and stable place to call home. Through our partnership with Family Promise of North Fulton/DeKalb, we provide temporary housing, meals, and compassionate support to families experiencing homelessness. Four times a year, for one-week intervals, we transform our synagogue into a welcoming shelter for up to four families, offering them a place of rest, nourishment, and dignity. Our volunteers play a vital role in this effort by preparing meals, providing supplies, offering hospitality, and assisting with move-in and move-out logistics. Whether by spending time with guests, donating essential items, or helping behind the scenes, every act of kindness strengthens our commitment to those in need. Together, we provide more than just shelter—we offer hope, stability, and a pathway to a brighter future.
