Rabbi Ron Segal
After a week that I truly hope was filled with the warmth of Thanksgiving gatherings – whether around a table with family, in the company of dear friends, or marked with quieter moments of gratitude – we’ve entered this week with renewed appreciation and recognition of the gratitude that comes from being together with people who add blessing to our lives.
As we shift our gaze from the Thanksgiving table to the celebration of Shabbat, I invite you to extend that joy by joining your congregational family this Friday evening for our Shabbat Reconsidered service. Contemporary and familiar musical settings of our liturgy, accompanied by our in-house band and volunteer choir, will help to create a Shabbat evening experience that is meaningful for our multi-generational congregation.
May the gratitude we felt this past week overflow into a joyful and uplifting Shabbat evening in which song, prayer, and the comfort of being in community remind us how fortunate we are to be part of something larger than ourselves.
I look forward to welcoming you.
Shabbat Shalom,
Rabbi Ron Segal
