Sinai Night at the Movies

Saturday, February 22, 2025 24 Sh'vat 5785

6:20 PM - 9:30 PMSocial Hall

One of the highlights of the year is coming up with the Atlanta Jewish Film Festival and that means Sinai Night at the Movies! This year, the Temple Sinai Brotherhood and Women of Sinai invite you to a special event starting at 6:20 pm at the Springs Cinema and Taphouse with the showing of the AJFF Shorts Showcase #2

The short films are one of the great overlooked gems of the AJFF, zipping across genres and topics as they hit the audience with different themes and styles. The films in showcase #2 include a touching look at the struggles of Palestinians living in Israel, a pair of heartwarming documentaries about preserving the past, and a pair of stories that center on quirky, unusual Jewish family traditions... including one film that features the famous actresses Tovah Feldshuh and Jackie Hoffman.

After the movie concludes, we will regroup at Temple Sinai at approximately 7:45 pm for dinner catered by Breadwinner Cafe and a lively discussion led by Rabbi Levenberg and Atlanta film critic/AJFF board member Jason Evans.

Tickets to the dinner/discussion at Sinai are $18 and include dinner, beer/wine and a selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages.

Tickets to the movie are also $18 each and will be shown at The Springs Cinema & Taphouse (5920 Roswell Road). General admission tickets go on sale on February 5.

We have reserved a limited number of tickets during the pre-sale period. To purchase tickets in this block, please CLICK HERE and enter the code TS2025. These reserved seats are located in rows B and C.
