How do YOU do Shabbat?

Be part of Temple Sinai's first Shabbat Across Sinai - a unique Shabbat experience with hundreds of members celebrating Shabbat their own way across the community. Host your own Shabbat experience anytime on Friday, July 26th with your friends and loved ones wherever you want... from Dunwoody to Decatur, and anywhere in between! Everyone is invited - singles, couples and families of all ages. Enjoy a traditional meal around your table, have a backyard BBQ or game night, spend the evening at the park with loved ones, go out for a delicious dinner with friends or gather for Friday night services at Sinai - the possibilities are endless! Shabbat Across Sinai is whatever YOU make it!

Looking for resources and/or a little financial assistance to help you get started? Check out the following resources:

• Individual Gather Grants from the Jewish Federation of Atlanta for up to $180 towards your Shabbat experience. Note the deadline to apply for a Gather Grant is June 30th and there are a limited number of grants available - don't wait to apply if you're interested!
• OneTable is an amazing organization helping those in their 20s & 30s create & connect to Shabbat experiences through grants and other resources.
• OneTable Together is the new beta program from OneTable launched to help make Shabbat experiences accessible for those in the 50+ demographic.

When you sign up to host your Shabbat Across Sinai experience you'll receive a host kit including a Shabbat resource guide, candles, a beautiful commemorative host gift and other goodies. If you register before Friday July 12th this host gift will be mailed to your home - any hosts who register after this date are encouraged to pick up their Shabbat kits at Temple Sinai.
