Following Shabbat services, several members of the Nefesh committee (Dr. Betsy Gard, Dr. Ina Enoch, and Dr. Josh Spitalnick) will be hosting a brief 30-minute discussion about their personal and family experiences related to mental health struggles and successes. Stigma remains a barrier to open dialogue about mental health. This discussion hopes to address the issue of stigma as well as other barriers associated with discussing and accessing mental health support. Presenters will highlight the importance of self-care and how to access to appropriate resources when in need.
