2:00 PM - 4:30 PMLibraryNAVON (Sinai's community for those over 65 years of age) is excited to sponsor A Festival of Israeli Film in honor of Israel's 75th year. This series shows award-winning Israeli films, from the early classics to modern gems.
This month we'll be watching Ajami, a 2009 drama that chronicles the stories of five residents of Ajami, a religiously mixed neighborhood in Jaffa. This film features a melting pot cast of Arab, Palestinian, Jewish and Christian characters with intersecting storylines that lead to a dramatic collision of different worlds and unforeseen consequences.
We'll meet in Sinai's small social hall for the screening and a discussion to follow. Drinks and movie popcorn will be served!
