Jewish Federation of Greater Atlanta Needs-Based Financial Assistance
Scholarship: The Jewish Federation of Greater Atlanta’s Camp Scholarship Program helps families in metro Atlanta with the cost of overnight camp tuition. Camp scholarships are based on financial need and are awarded by the Camp Scholarship Committee as a part of an anonymous review and allocation process. All applications and inquiries are confidential. The camp scholarship program is funded through the generosity of individual donors, grants from charitable foundations, and the Jewish Federation of Greater Atlanta’s Annual Campaign.
Jewish Federation of Greater Atlanta recognizes the additional constraints of sending a child with special needs to camp, and as such has a designated Special Needs Scholarship fund. If you have questions about whether or not your child might be eligible, please contact us.
NOTE:
- Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis once complete.
- Campers must be attending camps which are part of the Foundation for Jewish Camp (FJC) network. (Campers who received scholarships for non-FJC camps in 2019 are eligible to continue receiving scholarship, but no new campers will be eligible.)
- Receipt of awards previously is not a guarantee for future scholarships.
- There is no limit to number of children in a family who can apply for a scholarship. If you are applying for more than four children you will have to submit an additional form.
- Once you start your online application, you will have the capacity to save and come back to the application to continue adding information, including scholarship awards from other sources.
- All applications and inquiries are confidential.
