Due to Hurricane Florence, we know there are many who have either sought or are seeking refuge in our community. If anyone you know has been displaced by this hurricane, we invite them to worship with us for Shabbat as well as for Yom Kippur as our guest, after which all are encouraged to break-the-fast with one of our Temple Sinai families or at the synagogue upon the conclusion of services.  Should any individuals seeking refuge from the hurricane in Atlanta wish to join us for Yom Kippur, we do ask that either you contact the Sinai office at 404.252.3073 or email us hhd@templesinaiatlanta.org so that we can communicate necessary and important Holy Day information and logistics.

As with past natural disasters, we are also assembling a list of any Temple Sinai members willing to temporarily host a family in need of a place to stay should there be a need.  If you are able to assist with this mitzvah, please complete the information at this link and we will contact you should the circumstances warrant.

Please click here if you are willing to host evacuees of Hurricane Florence.

Additionally, anyone who would like to make a contribution to Sinai’s Disaster Relief Fund, regardless of ability to host, will find the necessary info at the same link.  Please know that 100% of contributions to this Fund go directly to support those adversely impacted.

Please know that we are sending our sincere prayers for safety and security to any family members and friends who might be impacted by this storm. Should the need arise, we will do everything we can to offer emotional and material support in the days ahead.

With shalom and best wishes,

Temple Sinai Clergy, Professional Staff, Officers & Board of Trustees
