The SniffPhone Project has created a small plug for your cell phone that can screen for diseases by your exhaled breath. The SniffPhone’s artificial sensory system was developed by Professor Hossam Haick and his team at the Technion - Israel Institute of Technology in Haifa. By using SniffPhone, you can breathe into your phone and receive immediate health test results.
The data from our breath is sent from your phone to a system where it is evaluated. Based on what the results say, doctors can ascertain if patients need to visit the doctors office for additional tests and evaluations. This product has the potential to change health care. It is easy to use and inexpensive. Learn more about the technology behind SniffPhone here.
