Once a month, normally on a Friday evening but occasionally on a Saturday morning (see dates below), families with children ages five and under (older siblings are welcome too) gather to celebrate Shabbat in a kid-friendly service. The service includes lots of singing (and sometimes guitar playing), dancing, blessings, and a short story told by one of the Rabbis. An oneg Shabbat with healthy snacks, challah, and drinks directly follows the service. Each Tot Shabbat has a theme relating the closest holiday. After the oneg, children of all ages are invited into the religious school art room to do a simple and fun theme-related art project.
Our Tot Shabbat Co-chairs for 2012/13 are Julie Royal, Rebecca Levenberg and LaWana Streger. If you have any questions, please contact them at
