Servies Jewish adults and families who are active caregivers
CAREGIVER CARE ATLANTA NEEDS VOLUNTEERS!
I work across town, please help me get my mom or dad to their doctor’s appointments.........
Set aside one day a month, 2 to 4 hours, to make a caring difference by escorting a senior that can’t drive anymore to a medical appointment, wait in the office, and then take the rider home. Insurance and training is provided. LIFESPAN provides transportation services to anyone 55 or older living primarily inside I-285 in the northeast Atlanta area. More locations will be added as we add more volunteers through synagogues in different areas.

Make a difference – give your personal time to a Jewish family caregiver. You can schedule your own hours and you won’t be asked to do any household chores or provide medical care. You’ll provide companionship for someone who needs care by sharing conversation, games, TV or quiet time. Volunteer just a few hours twice a month to will make a big difference.
Caregiver CARE Atlanta Volunteer Respite Services will provide you with the training you need to succeed, ensure a safe home environment, and match you with your desired caregiver situation. Caregiver CARE Atlanta is a unique partnership of several area agencies funded by the Jewish Federation of Greater Atlanta, focused on support for Jewish families who are active caregivers for their loved ones.
