7th & 8th Grade
The Middle School STEP program alternates each year between two curriculums. In 2010-2011, the students will use the TV show “My Name Is Earl” to study “The Tao of Earl: Understanding Karma and Commandment in a Jewish Context.” The class will meet roughly twice a month at Temple Sinai in sessions designed to provoke discussion and promote learning. In addition to the in-class components, there will be a monthly Dinner Club component, where students will enjoy a wide array of cultural cuisine and social time together. The class is team taught by Rabbi Levenberg and Suzanne Simkin, with Rabbi Levenberg and Brian Fink running the Dinner Club program.

The cost for this program is $275.
