Temple Sinai and Neshamot/Sisterhood are hosting a Social Action Sunday benefiting the Mother’s Day Jewelry Project of the National Council of Jewish Women. Collected costume jewelry will provide over 5000 students in Atlanta area Title I schools an opportunity to select a special gift for their mother or grandmother. The "pop-up" jewelry stores will be set up in four Title I elementary schools in which the Atlanta Jewish Coalition for Literacy volunteers tutor reading skills to disadvantaged children. Throughout the month of January we will be collected donations of costume jewelry, then join us at Temple Sinai on Sunday, February 12, to sort, clean and bag the jewelry.
At the February 12 Social Action Sunday we will be collecting Sanitary Napkins for Syrian Refugees in Atlanta.Register Now
